Five Points Walkability

When we moved to Raleigh, one of the things we wanted was walkability. We had young kids and liked to spend those early mornings sticking them in the stroller and heading out for a cup of coffee. We would also meet friends at area playgrounds and "spend the time" outdoors watching the kids get tired. As they aged, our kids loved hopping on their bikes to visit friends or make a purchase at Rite-Aid. Walkability allows us to entertain friends without cleaning up the house! We love not being on an island of our own property. Raleigh has amazing Greenway pathways and is pretty easy to get around as a pedestrian. Do you like walkability?
