Every town in the Triangle will kick off Summer fun later this month with Memorial Day.  You'll find balloons, ice cream, baseball and so many more reasons to get out and enjoy the communities surrounding the Triangle Area of North Carolina.

2018 Freedom Balloon Festival is a great way to kick off your Memorial Day Weekend in Fuquay-Varina.  Grounds open at 2pm on Friday, May 25th and the fun continues until 10:30pm Sunday night.  Check out Full Schedule HERE.  Its nots just beautiful hot air balloons either; craft beer and wine garden, arts and crafts village and live music all weekend.usa baseball cary


Baseball action Everywhere with NCAA Division II Championships at USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary starting May 26th.  The National Club Baseball Division I World Series at Ting Park in Holly Springs with East Carolina Pirates Club Team representing the Mid-Atlantic District, games start on May 25th.  Have you ever attended a Carolina Mudcats Game in Zebulon?  The Mudcats start a four game home stand Memorial Day Weekend with firework on Friday and Sunday along with Noon start time on Monday


Live music all weekend long starting with Brian McKnight at Red Hat Amphitheater on Friday the 25th.  More live outdoor music with the Outlaw Music Festival featuring Willie Nelson and Allison Kraus at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek starting at 5:30 on Friday.  More live music at the Lincoln Theatre, The Pour House Music Hall and other venues, visit The Most NC for a full calendar


Raleigh area museummuseum raleighs are classics to remember.  Marbles Kids Museum, North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, and the North Carolina Museum of Art are all perfect places to spend time.  Explore feature exhibits on NC in World War I and an amazing collection of photos of Historical Photos of NC


Visiting a park for a hike, bike ride or floating in a canoe may be the best medicine to relax and enjoy the long weekend.  The area is packed with amazing options to just get outside.  Right in the middle of the triangle is Umstead State Park with over 5000 acres, Pullen Park in the heart of Raleigh with a 1911 carousel, 215 acre Lake Crabtree County Park with boating and mountain biking and the over 300 acre Bond Park in Cary to name just a few.
