So we were cooped up with the snow and now everyone is back to "normal". One thing I noticed while spending hours inside, is that my winter deep clean did not go so deep. I know my previous post talked about projects to do all year long that keep a house running in ship shape but here is a suggestion for 6 things that need to be cleaned today, like right now, like if your kids need a ride somewhere they have to help do these first.  For a quick little how to vide click here

1 Clean the blinds: damp cloth

2. Washer: run an empty cycle with vinegar and baking soda instead of soap

3. Fridge: clear everything out and wipe down with hot water and baking soda

4.  Oven

5,  Carpet: rent the machine!

6. Mattress: Vacuum and lay it on its side all day. I guess you should start with this one. you may be exhausted at the end of all this cleaning and you will want a place to sleep!

Whether you are trying to get your home market ready for the spring or just want to like where you live better, these annoying household projects are a great thing to do.
