Today in Wake and Durham Counties is a municipal election day which means we are voting for city leaders.  Mayor and City Council seats will be decided by this election, which is typically plagued by low voter turnout. Ironically, your local officials often affect your day to day living on a large scale. In the Triangle area, we are predicted to double in size over the next 10 years. Those changes will have big impacts and your voice should be heard by voting for the officials who represent your point of view.  Also, when you move, you must notify the board of election of your new address change. Do not miss having your vote counted by being registered at the wrong address. Below is a list of local websites for voter registration.
